    We've just had a little 20 mile shake down road ride and can report that x1 Gen3 is an awful lot quieter than stealth gen1, it's really very impressive. We had them riding side by side. Would say that you can barely hear the Gen3 now -just a slight electrical hum- and imagine it'll be even less...

    Thanks. The batteries above are cyc's own and what they suggest for the motors. The other option Electron does is... 14S4P 52v 19.5Ah Panasonic Tesla 21700 (4850 mAh per cell and). 50Amp Nominal BMS. 4p x 10A cells Thanks again for the guidance.

    Hi guys Running a cyc stealth 1500w motor. Don't usually do more than 20-30mile ride with pas not throttle. No time to build my own pack at the moment so these are the two choices which are both in shark type cases... Would ideally have liked a smaller battery like a 'Bicycle motor works pocket...

    Thanks Nomad. Have just stripped it right down, degreased everything and regreased with mobilith shc100. It does actually sound a bit quieter on the bench, so fingers crossed.... Will report back when I can be arsed to refit it:-)

    If you want quiet get the bbshd You won't need more than 1500w from the stealth for everyday riding, especially on a hard tail! You won't notice the weight of either when riding, only when you have to lift the bike over a gate. Just my opinion:-)

    Think we worked it out via the cyc owners Facebook group. You can't change street/race on the fly like you can with an eggrider, you have to change it, then restart. Not as convenient but it works.

    We had a bit of a result with changing settings this morning, and it worked well for both pro and stealth. The only other thing we've changed is that we use 2 magnets on the rear wheel. In pedal assist, pedal sensor configuration... Pedal speed map end to 80rpm (cadence) And on assist level...

    All I can say is that we've found cyc excellent to deal with, and they respond rapidly to comms.
