Hey Guys,
I made a short compilation video of the Ipswich Electric Car rally. The scene over here is growing and there was probably a 50/50 split between conversions and stock Evs.

Before ish photo, testing the cromotor fit
After: 2005 Giant DH comp, Cromotor V1, lyen 18fet, kiwi dropouts, 24s2p lipo, methods lvc/hvc battery protection, icecube harness.
Top speed so far 80km/h, power wheelies up to 60, very, very fun!!
Awesome bike
This looks brilliant for offroad use, nice controllable wheelies!
Any chance you could do a build thread as you mentioned in another post?
I ended up buying an 05 comp just to get the 150mm rear swingarm to avoid the clearance issues with the 135mm one.
To get the disc away from the swingarm and clearance for the caliper, I got my neighbour to make me up a 4mm spacer for the disc side. It is tight but it all lines up perfectly...
Not sure if it applies to your model but in V2.3 Users guide there is this statement which is not in the 2.1 manual :
"Note that it is essential to set the AuxVoltage input (see ) to either the current or speed limit first, otherwise the system will take off at full power when turned on"
Where did source the new 150mm swingarm from ? I've got an 03 Team with a cromotor in transit but the current 135mm space, with kiwi's dropouts is looking a little tight..... The 150mm sounds perfect.
Brilliant !
This is almost exactly what I have planned for mine.
So far I have the bike (2002 team) and an order with Kiwi for the dropout adapters so I'll be watching your thread with interest!
Good luck!
