Your Creation's Before & After Pics

Wow, CogHog. I just took a look at the before pic of the Indian and you are a miracle worker! Great job! My only question is why is the seat so far back? Are you super tall?

It's the style of the track racers. I am about 5' 6" and the cranks are too close. Puts my knee in my belly. Its a bitch to ride but today I had so many people compliment me and yelling from buss stops. I can see also that it crushes the ego of the Harley peeps. They want to hate but find they are hating themselves.

My wife wanted in on the ebike madness. Welcome number 5 to the family ;) A version3 chinese bakfiets/cargo trike.
One less SUV taking the kids to school when its not raining.
Ezee v1 rear with ku63 at 17 amps, 10s bottle battery. Pulls uphill all day. Selected a single speed on the rear cogset to give a nice 15kph cadence. No derailleur.

SAm, That bike rocks. Perfect use of electrics on a bike.

Heres my E-Bike conversion. It's runs at 87.5 volts fully charged and sags to 69v when riding at 45mph. I have my controller set to 50 amps max. I used to run at 57.5 v with the internal controller which gave me 26-27 mph on the flat, got 31 downhill but wanted to go faster after 2 weeks of riding it. The extra money I spent on the Lyen extreme modder controller, cycle analyst, 72v BMS, wiring, throttle and cycle analyst and batteries was worth it though.

it's so difficult to do a before and after picture simply because since my bike is ever changing.

I don't plan on many any drastic changes in the near future, so I guess this could constitute as a potential after picture.

ski mount with ski I got from http://site.alpineskibikes.com/
original bad quality alpineskimx's ski I replaced to "ski blade" 87cm from ebay

^^ That just has to be a hoot to ride! I presume the front brake is n/a in ski-mode :)

Awesome! KF

You had a good vision when you started that conversion. Who could have thought something so boring could look as good as you've made it !

Thx. Also huge thanks to ES for an awesome forum :)

First test drive was successful.

I think pretty good. I've never ridden MTBs, and spend last 30 something years on road bikes, so what would I know? :)

ok after riding the Kona for 2 years it's time to build a lexan case for the battery. get all the necessary tools ready. build a first cardboard shape of what you want to build. Next step is build a wooden jig that is the right width and fits the cardboard cut out. more to come.

Hi I'm a newbie with e bike and this site

Just showing off my simple build of full suspension mountain bike with BMC hub motor.

Before

After
ebike m.jpgebike m2.jpg

Spec:
Bike: 2007 Specialised Stumpjumper FSR Comp
Motor: BMC V2T
Contoller: Lyen
Battery: 2 x 25.9V 10Ah Lipo with BMS, Total = 51.8V 10Ah or 25.9V 20Ah
Battery compartment: frame bag (Source from Canada, forgot the name of the company)
Throttle: Half twist
Toque arm: rear universal angle type

Very lucky that the batteries can just fit inside the frame and found a prefect frame bag to keep everything tidy.
Very happy with the build at the moment, have tested approx. 100km of very technical off road, working very well.

Each charge last approx. 20km of offroad with some paddling.

Surprisingly found that running on 25.9V have much better traction and fun for technical off-road then at 51.8V!!

Bike: Old Giant Rincon
Tires: Continental Country Plus
Motor: Crystalyte HT2425
Controller: Crystalyte 72V 45A
LiPo: 18S2P 10Ah
Max speed: Ca 50 km/h
Weight RTR: 27 kg

My friend did this video on his Gio 500W scooter.
His average speed was 30 km/h.
Looks like I need more voltage to get to 60 km/h faster :)

More "after" pics of Delta Tripper, nwo that it's had a number of major mods since it was built.

but is really just a concept.

This is the best "before" pic of the actual frame and wheels and stuff I started with
