SW900 display does not stay on

The parameter P03 was originally set to 36V and still keeps this value.

SW900 display does not stay on

Thank you E-HP for your detailed answer, which might be quite useful in the future. Meanwhile, suddenly the problem disappeared just as described by Teeman! As for the short noise, it probably came from the controller, certainly not from the display.

SW900 display does not stay on

Sorry, I do not understand the meaning of "battery tripping". Since the incident, the bike no longer functions and the display has the behavior I described. The battery appears to behave normally: It charged in the usual 4 hour time. The final voltage measured with the battery off the bike seems...

SW900 display does not stay on

Thank you E-HP: I took the battery off the bike and measured at the connectors: 40V or 0V depending on the On/Off switch position. Does this answer your question?

SW900 display does not stay on

I assembled a bike with a 500 Watt gearless hub, a 36 Volt 12 Amp hour battery, a generic controller, and a SW900 display. It worked fine for a couple of months until today: I was returning home with an almost empty battery and suddenly there was a short weak cracking sound, error 10 appeared...

Wheel Diameter or Magnet Number ?

OK AHicks, in this case I will set the wheel diameter to 26.4 (measured value) and the magnet number to 58, which gives the best velocity agreement with GPS.

Wheel Diameter or Magnet Number ?

Thank you E-HP and AHicks for your replies! I understand that the number of poles provides the information of the motor revolutions while the wheel diameter allows to calculate the distance covered with each revolution. However, I wonder if these two values are always used together for the...

Wheel Diameter or Magnet Number ?

In order to adjust the speed shown on the SW900 display so that it coincides with the GPS value, either the Wheel Diameter or the Magnet Number settings can be used. Are these two ways of doing totally equivalent? Is there any reason to precisely set the actual number of the hub motor poles ?

    Some parameters hidden on SW900

Thank you amberwolf for your answer. I did not give any details because the kit I used has no brand name or any inscription on the 500 watt 36 volt motor. The controller has the following inscription: DC MOTO CONTROLLERBYLITHIUMBATTERY VOLTAGE:DC36/48V BRAKES:LOW LEVEL CURRENT:26+-1A BOOSTER:1...

    Some parameters hidden on SW900

Hellow, this is my first post. I just installed a conversion kit on my mountain bike. Everything works but the SW900 display does not show parameters P09 to P12: it just jumps from P08 to P13. Is there a way to solve this problem?
