In my observation no. The only two factors I have seen affect spoke breakage rates are spoke quality which went way up in the 80s-90s-00s but way down in the Amazon bike era, and wheel build quality which has been all over the place the whole time. Special points for storing your bike near pool chemicals or bleach which can cause spoke breakage even if you never ride your bike.
