I’ve used many cell holders for battery testing but have never been fully satisfied with any of them, so I designed my own to get as many things right as possible: 4-wire contacts, airflow, alignment, connectors, and easy install and release. I'm selling kits to assemble your own cell holders.
The release mechanism allows you to push the tab to compress the spring and release the cell. Install a new cell by holding it up to the alignment cradle to get it centered every time, and releasing the tab.
All cell holders feature the same 4-pin 5mm pitch terminal block to easily swap your equipment between cell holders.
Holders are available for both 18650 and 21700 cells, in a 3D Printed 5A version or an FR4 (PCB material) 15A version with larger cell contacts.
3D printing files if you want to print your own are available through the links below.
Available through my website here: 4-wire Cell Holder - A2D Electronics
Or through Tindie: 4-wire Cell Holder for Battery Testing by A2DElectronics on Tindie
Cost varies depending on options and type ($7.50-19 USD). Shipping varies depending on location.
