Hi All,
First off I want to thank everyone for their help over the last few months, including cellman, who was patient and helpful as I placed my order for a triangle battery pack. What I've realized is a simple ebike turns into a small obsession, adding parts here and there. With that being said, here is my quick review of a USB headlight.
I was looking for a way to have a nice powered headlight, with my first choice being a light that plugs into my CA directly. After looking at the prices, I finally realized that a cheaper alternative would be to just use a USB light with a free powerbank I got at a recent technology convention.
Below is a 2000 lumen headlight I got off ebay for about $12.

I use a very small powerbank with the following specs:
Input: 5v-800mA
Outpu: 5v-800mA
Capacity: 2600mAh
Mounting it to the front of my handlebar, and running the powerbank into the center frame bag couldn't be more seamless:

To be honest, 2000 lumens is a bit much, so I run it at the second setting, which dims the light to about 1200 lumen at about 1500MA (current). The light lasted exactly 2 hours and 22 minutes, which seems to befalls awesome considering the quick setup.
For those looking for a decent light and don't mind charging a removable USB powerbank every few days, this is a great alternative to an integrated CA light.
Enjoy!
