Hi! I will begin to tell that i have a prior experience with large batteris in ev conversions, but I’m relatively new to solar panels and offgrid solutions.
I have 12 Huawei 2.5 kWh batteries, each consisting of 20 LiFePO4 cells in series. The batteries have an integrated balancing circuit but no BMS for protection during charging and discharging.
These batteries will be used to power an EcoFlow unit, which handles the conversion to 12V and 230V, so I do not need an inverter.
I’m looking for a solar charge controller that can protect against both overcharging and overdischarging, and that allows me to charge using shore power, 12V from the car’s generator, and solar energy. Any recommendations?”
