Im a little confused on where to pu the wires for the battery voltage level indicator on the battery case. And information as o where i can find a diagram for that would be greatly apreciated. Let me know if you want pictures or something.

But i would still like a wiring diagram for the case so i am positive that the usb is wired right.

I figured it out. You connect the meter directly to 48 volts :p

Yes, I would probably connect the meter straight to the battery, before the BMS (with a tiny fuse if you want to be extra safe). That way you can tell the battery voltage even if the BMS has tripped.

The USB should be wired in after the BMS and the switch.

Okay so you mean after i got everything else hooked up and its working use a multimeter to find out if the usb is working? Also the led for the power button. Should i hook that up after everything as well?

Also next to the balencing plug you need to short 2 connectioms to enable usb function. Can i just hook up a switch and bypass the usb port for a flashlight?

Sorry, that's not what I meant when I said before and after. I meant hook up the meter straight to the battery so it doesn't go through the BMS. If the USB has a separate circuit board to regulate the voltage then that should be connected in parallel with the main output to the bike so it will turn off if the BMS trips. It sounds like the USB regulator is built into the BMS though so why don't you post a link or some photos of the BMS.

after i wired in my bms the charging works, i have 54 volts at the battery, but only 41 at the power port. i dont know what i did wrong, i will try to upload some pictures.

Those voltages sound suspiciously like charger voltage and low battery voltage. Are you testing those with the charger plugged in?

No charger isnt plugged in. I think charging voltage is atound 59 volts. Each cell pack is aitting at 4.15 volts after charging and sitting for a half hour. There is 2 commectors on the bms that you are supposed to short out and when i do that the total voltage drops to 7.3 and shorting the terminal for the load on off switch does nothing.

figured it out, one bms wire was not getting a good connecting. fixed that now its working great.
