60v brushless help

Hi
I have a gng 60v mid drive and I hooked it all up and it went well ... but when i accelerate I only get a 3-4 second burst of power then it cuts out for 30sec to a min .
I have a 48v battery powering it now, i know thats under powered but shouldnt it still run since I am above the low v cutoff?
Please if ya have any ideas I am new to motors and controllers I would appreciate any advice

If it's a 60v controller and you have a 48v battery, I would say it's hitting LVC.
If it cuts out and back then out and a little long and so on, it's the battery. Controller is hitting the LVC, battery recovers and powers up the controller and so on.

That's the problem. Controller LVC is around 52.5V. Which is about the nominal voltage of your battery.
High amps or low C rate cells will make the problem worse.
