8FUN Powers Up, But Has No Motor Action

Hi Guys,

Trying to help out my friend.

He has the 750w 8FUN kit and it was riding really well up until a few days ago.


He said that the throttle got jammed on full and when he turned it on with the throttle fully on an error code came up (error 04 throttle not returning to zero state)

He fixed the throttle (unjammed it) and now the motor stopped working and now will refuse to go.

The display comes on but the motor will not engage with throttle or pedalling.


Has anyone come across this before?

Sounds like you may have blown a FET in the controller. Does the motor make a clicking sound when you twist the throttle?

I don't think so. Nothing that can be heard from a standing position.
Would you have to have your head next to the motor to hear it?
