I bought a 900 what boost charger we're like 30 bucks and I was using it at 12 volt 30 amp meanwell power supply but I see it can take up to 60 volts. I have a mean well at 28 volts and a HP 500 at 12.6 volts for a grand total of 41 volts or so can I power this boost controller as it says it can do up to 15 amps ?? Remember I'm old in the garage and doing talk to text.

This is the way I calculate the output. I’m happy to be corrected.

This boast converter has max 'input' of 15A. You’ll lose about 15% in efficiency. So 15A x 41V x 0.85 = approx 522w output. So probably safe at 500W.

Other considerations:
- The closer the output voltage is to the input…better the efficiency.
- Your power supplies will need to be ‘isolated outputs’ to run in series.
- pointing an external fan at the boast converter may help with cooling.
- Check your wires and connectors at constant 15A for heat. Use 10-12AWG silicone wire if you have it. Bullet connectors or similar work well.
