I'm looking for options for a small motor on my mountain bike, it is a Giant Talon. I don't need a lot of power but I would like a little something because I'm really used to having a motor on my street bike now and bikjng without a motor just feels weird.

I'm looking for something, maybe a couple hundred Watts. I would prefer pedal assist as opposed to throttle

A small, low power hub motor is probably more of a hindrance than a help for serious mountain biking. Using it interrupts the cadence. At a spot where you make a quick turn and then climb, it's hard to shift down quick enough and you end up lugging the motor. When I say you, I mean me, that's been my experience. I've burned up a motor and two controllers by not being the keep the revs up.
A little motor might be nice on a fire road, but they are useless any kind of incline, sometimes to the point of being a detriment.
Go big motor, or better yet, mid-drive or don't bother.

If I upgrade the motor on My Vado, I'll have a spare 1.2 T Brose. Maybe I could take out the crank of the Giant and put that in its place
