Hi everyone.
I have to admit to starting off by being a bit lazy in case someone already knows the answer...
I recently bought the subject bike which is a nice, if somewhat heavy, bike. It is speed limited to 25 km/h / 15.5 mph and I find that I'm normally cycling at around 17-18mph. In effect I'm lugging a heavy bike around under my own power and only getting the odd bit of pedal assist if I hit a hill or when setting off at the lights. The good news is that I'm getting penty of exercise.
I've read a few posts here and elsewhere about uncoupling a wire connection associated with the motor controller to eliminate the speed limit. I believe that my bike is similar to the ADO D30. Has anyone taken a look at the controller and figured out if there is a way to safely remove this speed limit? I'm sure that the same bike is sold in USA where the limit is a more reasonable 20mph.
Thanks in anticipation
Argy
