Is this a good deal? It looks fun, and would probably be perfectly legal if electrified in my town (we have multi-use paved paths all over the city, and bikes, walkers, golf carts, and electric bikes are all allowed with a 20mph speed limit).

This might be a really good thing to have for fun around town.

I have an extra hub motor, but was wondering three things that perhaps you good fellows could help me with:

1. Is this a good deal?

2. Could it be converted to a two-seater (either side-by-side or in-line, facing forward or backward)

3. Would one hub motor on the rear work or would it cause poor performance (since the other rear wheel wouldn't be pushing)?

Thanks

As for the posted bike and ?'s.
If you or someone you know can weld sure that could be made a two seater.
Hub motor won't work as set up for Single sided hubs.
But that would make a great bike for a mid drive setup.
$900 seems high for used. But from the pic, used it does not look.
I'd say$600 is more fair.

Mikes bored again. You find interesting stuff bro, keep it coming. Best bet would be to mid drive it.

I do search for unique things to make electric, but I haven't built anything unique. My only builds are an industrial tricycle, a Schwinn Ranger (heavy piece of junk), a Trek pure and my current regular ride, the Schwinn High Sierra (which so far proves to be a great bike).

I don't know if I'll ever get around to building anything creative, but I like to daydream a lot.
