Aren't electric scooters illegal on the road in California?Pretty much any personal transport that isn't pedal powered is illegal in England!People getting gopeds confiscated is common! electric scooters aren't as practical as electric bikes anyway 8)

Luckily I live in Estonia and here's still some sanity. As long it's max speed doesn't exceed 45km/h it's totally free to ride (no driving license, insurance, or technical inspection needed) Only helmet needed and demanded by police.
More, my summer home is on the tiny Prangli island, where cops are seen maybe once a year Everybody driving unregistered cars and motocross bikes there.
