Hello,
(TLDR; below...)

I had purchased a Wheelspeed WS1 Pro scooter off of Amazon about 1.5 years ago, which is apparently just an Orz QDE-29. Needless to say, the manufacturing of it was beyond terrible. I even got a free replacement of the entire scooter, but it was still plagued by issues. Over time I fixed all of the issues, only to crash the bike due to a medical issue that was since resolved.

After that crash, I tried to start the scooter up again and it wouldn't respond to being turned on. I tried replacing most of the components on the display unit by buying the specific components on Aliexpress (only spot that had the LED display component). Unfortunately, that was a bust, so I just assumed there was PCB damage since it appeared to be layered.

The manufacturer has since stopped selling the scooter (likely due to the terrible QA on the production line) and never sold a replacement display or any other component of the scooter on their website like they do/did for their other products. I contacted them nearly 30 times trying to get a replacement display, only to be promised they would have it in stock by the end of July. They still don't and now they ignore my emails (as they have done MANY times).

I've tried using another scooter's display, only to realize the WS1Pro actually uses a 12v rail for the display, not 5v. As a software engineer/developer with an interest in low-voltage electronics, I knew it was a long shot.

TLDR; for a Wheelspeed WS1 Pro scooter, which is apparently just an Orz QDE-29, is my only realistic, practical, and quick-ish option in order to replace the display, to also replace the controller (in a combo where the controller and display are bundled together)? The hub motor in it appears to use the same amount of wires and wire colors that other similar scooters use. It is a 36v scooter with a 400W FWD hub motor ("800W max") which comes with a Julet 5-pin waterproof connector from the controller to the display. Photos of the display and controller attached.

I’d like to keep things inexpensive since I’ve already dumped over a hundred dollars into it.

P.S. I was an idiot and threw the old display away.
(EDIT) P.P.S. I've emailed Orz three times to two people and they ignore my emails when I asked for datasheets, parts, or another contact.
