My kinda car. Very nice specs. But Uncle Sam doesn't want me to have it. So i cross my fingers and hope the Mazda Miata EV isn't just a rumor..

Only China probably means "not up to safety standard in other countries"
It is a lot easier to build something light if you don't have crash beams and airbags everywhere, and surveillance outside (and inside) of the car etc.

And yet the light car is provably safer than the "safe" car that weighs 3 to 10X what it should to do its job.
