And more, much more than this. I did it my way

Hey all!

Just finished up my first DIY EMTB project.

I have a DIY cargo bike as well in the back of some of these photos.

I really wanted a class 3 emtb for my commute. I have a lot of just distance riding over gravel. The main reason to go DIY was to have a bit more power and top speed. Really glad I bit the Bullitt so to speak and built my own.

My DIY Bullitt from Santa Cruz build on a Nomad platform with a CYC Photon.

Nothing special yet but really loving the feel of this bike. Performance is better than I expected.

Ya'll got any questions? I expect the hole in my frame might raise some eyebrows. My plan was thwarted by a change in the BB shape in the bike. Nevermind, I'll adapt my plan. sanded it down so there was clearance, then rebuilt it with 2x the layers of Carbon in the frame. then covered in JB Weld for heat resistance.

Good fabricating job! I use a lot of JB Weld (I get the mega tubes), but never seen that much used at once. Look solid though.
