Any info on: Turnigy 4500mAh 6S2P 30C LiFePo4?

I've seen some info on the Turnigy Lipo's here on ES but nothing on these LifePo4's any experience? Im going to start a new ground up EV build with another HXT 80-100 and would like to get away from SLA im not quite confident in the turnigy lipo's.

the comments posted on this pack dont sound too good which is strange because alot of people here with the 5ah LIPO from turnigy are very satisfied

I think the main deal is the price. The lipo is so cheap, especially if you pounce on the sales at HK. So the lifepo4 gets a bit unattractive for the real watt junkies. Especially if you like the better c rates of the lipo's. But you'd theoreticaly get more cycles out of the lifepo4.

looks like theyve been around for a while i found this thread but it died down comparing them to a123's by liveforphysics and a coulpe other experienced guys which in that case would be an excellent option, seems strange there wouldnt be more interest if that was the case though

starting to puff up some at about 100 cycles 2 packs together for 36v
so i have used them hard i guess most cycles have been less than 10 miles
capacity is starting to fade
much happier with my 18650s
i would not recomend them
altho they are still working for me
i doubt i will get the hoped for thousands of cycles
even tho they are lifepo4

You can buy A123 26650 cells from me for about that price, not from HC, they charge 18USD each for A123 26650s.
