Hey, has anyone used any of these tiny RC controller types?

Would they work with throttle and break cutoff? I doubt they could work with CA or extra sensors like temp probe, speed sensor, pedal sensor etc., but for just a tiny barebone build....

The 120A sensored one you posted seems like a good option. I don't really know if by sensored they actually mean hall sensors sensored, but it also seems to be optional. About the throttle and breack cut-off: you could wire a simple break cut-off to that on-off switch it has. Throttle is a little bit more problematic, since common e-bike throttles are hall-sensor based and those rc escs usually receive a PWM signal. it would require a bit of eletronic to interface the signals. But it would be alot easier if, instead of interfacing the sinal, you use a servo controller or something that outputs a PWM signal to control it.

I ended up finding other forums that pointed me back to two good ES threads :p

In the first one, Jeremy really gives a good response on the topic; current limiting and ability to cope with lower motor speeds seems to be the bulk of the difference (and is fairly important at that).

Also found this amazing post that really goes into depth on the topic of RC parts for ebikes
