Are sub C's with battery bars a waste of time

I see some stores sell sub c's with battery tabs that can't hold high current. How formidable can a pack be if they are made with deans or other high amp battery bars?

I was thinking a 48v pack of 5000mah sub c's from cheapbattery packs for a gng gen 2 kit.

I agree, even if the cells are near-free...you will go through a lot of time and trouble, only to end up with a pack that has any one of several issues.
