HAHA that-a-boy top effort there...truthfully though you will find that when you have a welder there is
many a job around the house that can be tackled ! Very handy tool to have for sure

Actually half that for the small spool, just bought one this morning from Bunnings ~25 bucks and change...

Man...i wish more thought like this, soooo many times i have heard from people reading my worklogs "i wish i could do that" fact is you can, all it takes is a little effort/time/practise Wedling well enough to tackle a custom frame
isn't a steep learning curve IMO, and even easier these days with the internet and YouTube, search up welding tips
on youtube and you will learn all you need to know in 30 minutes and be ready to start practising...all about right heat settings and wire feed rate..not difficult, practise on scrap get it set right then tackle the job at hand, all about 'pushing the puddle'
One more 'tip' head to Freakbike nation in the forum stickies you will see bicyle frame jigs, you WILL need to build on of
these if you hope to get the frames you build straight/square etc, cost very little and will give you some good practise welding too! Any thing you think i might be able to assist with let me know, i like to help those that are trying to help themselves
