Bafang BBSO2 off set chain rings

Is it possible to make a smaller off set chain ring than this http://www.alcedoitalia.it/shop/accessori-bbs/corona-41-denti-per-bafang-centrale-bbs01-e-bbs02/ or is that at the physical limitations for offset BBSO2 chain rings. These are made so the use of an adapter is not required

Given the size of the motor housing I think that's as small as they can go with an offset.
