Hi All and Happy New Year for Friday
I have an issue with a 36v 500w Bafang mid drive motor BBS02, when you power on everything lights up fine but after 7 seconds it shows "error 30", the throttle works fine and still has pedal assit but it goes at full speed no matter what PAS level you select.
When I stripped it down I noticed that the main controller lead from the motor was routed wrong and had been squashed, so I bought a new controller and fitted it, same issue still happens, so I disconected the throttle and fitted a new display but still the same issue, I'm now wondering if it could be the PAS sensor in the motor but I have no way of checking, has anybody else had this issue and found a resolution for it.
Forgot to mention, when I plugged the motor in to originally find the issue using the Penoff config tool it blow my USB port on the computer and the chip on the tuning lead
Many thanks in advance.
Clive
