Yeah, so I decided the SLA tied together with a strap and layed on a sheet of cardboard needed something better. It's a shure bet it was gonna fail me eventually, and what about the cold?

So I chopped up the really thick packing box into a battery case,
with dual bottom layer. Routed the wires cleanly, too.

Then I sealed it shut using handyman's secret weapon. Lots of it.

Sealed that in a mostly water tight bag.

And put that into the carrying case. Voila!

Edit: weighs 31lbs

Very nice, you do have an airspace for the batteries to vent also when you recharge them? Meaning, this isn't "air tight" so to speak.

Yeah, it's breathable.

the cable goes upwards under the duck tape for a while, so if the thing gets soacked water shouldn't get in.

Red green would be proud. Although I'm disappointed you didn't make your own bag.
