Anyone know if there are any SLA switching chargers that play nice with the modified sine wave produced by inexpensive inverters? Specifically, I'm wondering about the 24V. chargers supplied by Currie for the E-Zip/I-Zip bikes but I also would like to know about 36V chargers (Think I caused the premature demise of a Wilderness Energy charger operating it this way).
I'm looking to charge bike batteries with a solar power system and, though I realize that an inverter changing 12VDC to 120VAC to power a charger producing 36 or 24VDC is not the most efficient way of doing things, it is the simplest and most effective with what I already have on hand.

Some of those WE chargers were pretty easy to kill. I went through 3 chargers pretty fast last summer, till I settled in with some that would last. Some of em I killed myself though. From what I've read, it's mostly motors that don't like the power from cheap inverters. Tv's and stuff like that run fine on em.
