Hello,

I'm going to buy a battery from EM3EV (feel most comfortable with their product after reading as much as I could about battery purchases from others, but open to other suggestions. Would be happy with Grin but they didn't have stock of any battery that would fit my needs) and I'm trying to decide between the following for my BBSHD bike:

52v 19AH Samsung 50E cells

52v 17AH Samsung 35E cells.

I'm aware of the voltage sag issues with the 50E but like the higher AH and higher 40amp rating. 35E is a little less AH and 30amp max rating is about what the BBSHD will pull which will be harder on the battery (especially as it ages), not sure if they would have more or less voltage sag issues. I believe the 35E was more tolerant of high heat before the thing would catch fire, but that could be a non-issue under normal circumstances. I'm coming from using an old RadPower 48v battery that mostly works for me, so I'm not too worried about either cell not being the hot rod of cells as long as I'm not going to be asking too much of them (in a battery life shortening way) with the BBSHD.

I'm in Los Angeles so I'm trying to consider things like heat tolerance as well as what the BBSHD is going to be asking from the battery. Would like to stick with a downtube battery as I'm a commuter/grocery store going cyclist and want to be able to take it off easily and use it between multiple bikes without too much hassle, but open to any suggestions.

Thanks for any input
