Hi

I am in doubt if I should go for a bafang BBS02 750w or a tdsz8 750w on my daily long commuter to work. Right now I am combining train with a 15k commute to go to work but I would like to do the whole distance of 32ish km and back. Meaning I need something that will be there for me for 350km weekly and will be helping consistently on these tired long days.
I can pedal and I will be doing that, I’m not asking for a throttle get-me-home machine, but I worry that tdsz8 will be lacking the power. Can it work relatively effortlessly for up to 35-37kmh? I am not planning to go faster than that… or should I go for the powerful (on/off) feel of the bafang due to the big distance?
Any input?

I've had really good performance and long life with a BBS02 used off-road, but have eschewed TD's because they used to have reliability problems (don't know whether that's been rectified). The lack of a torque sensor hasn't been constricting.

BBSO2 proven reliability will do 1250 watts on 48 volts, td barely gets to 750 watts and I don't think they like to be pushed hard.

The BBS02 may well be more powerful, but it is not necessary for 35 kmh, and i personally believe that the TD is more economical with battery consumption due to the Torque matching control it uses. That may be useful on longer rides. (2+ hrs ?)
I have use a TD on/off road for 8 years with no major issues ( blue gear swaped out early)
