I have a BBS02 running super smoothly on my current bike, but I wish it had more carrying capacity. So I'm considering buying a Yuba Mundo and moving the kit. The mundo would have derailleur shifting at the rear, and I'd like to use the original mundo wheels and hubs with the 14mm axle for strength and carrying capacity.

One thing I've read on here is that the Yuba Mundo has horizontal dropouts. Will I have problems with the BBS02 pulling on it? If so, will torque arms mitigate it?

Especially interested in in hearing from people who've had experience with BBS02 on the Yuba Mundo. Did you have to compensate for this? What did you use?

I have two fat bikes with horizontal dropouts and a BBSHD and they play well together. Mine started as single speeds and now have 3 or 5 speed IGHs and I haven't had any chain tension problems. I use a long capscrew to push against the axle on the brake side and a pull-type tensioner on the drive side axle.
