Sorry to hear about such an unexpected loss. But, just saying, if you're going to choose a way to go, I mean, wow! Paragliding and into a frozen river.

Bert was the founder and owner of NYCE Wheels, the electric bike store in Manhattan. I met him once and had some long discussions on the phone with him- he was always enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was from Austria originally and was a great friend to electric biking.

The small e-bike army has lost a general.

I am so sad to hear he is gone...

Well if I have to die I hopes it's doing something I love and not by someone texting while driving down the road. Although I guess that those could both happen at the same time while I am on my bike. You know what I mean.
