Iam trying to locate speed limiter wire and i cannot find it does anyone have any info that could help with this bike??

Who told you about the 'speed limiter wire' ??? - so much for secrets eh chaps?

Joking aside, why do you think your bike has such a thing?

perhaps 1st describe your bike and its components, motor type/'rated' size controller brand and capacity, battery details inc max drain etc...

edit - most systems use software to apply such limits, many have an admin menu system to configure such things, while many branded off the shelf system employ modded f/w to conform to local regs or employ restrictive business practices and remove configuration features.

Any bicycle that would suck to ride without a motor, still sucks when it has a motor.

You will have to identify make/model of your ebike. A picture of the controller wires and the display helps too, Some ebikes have speed limiters in the display. Some have no displays and will have a speed limiter wire, Some have both a display setting and also a wire. Some have neither. If you want help, you have to give more details. There is no universal answer. When they have a wire, it's more often a power setting, not a speed limit.

Whatever you do, don't be cutting wires at random. The speed limit wire, if there is one, will be a pair of single wires of same color, with matching connector. You have to examine the whole harness til you find it.

If you get the wrong wires, you could be plugging a light output into a ground. Fries the controller. So don't be connecting wires at random either.

If you spend close to $3k on an ebike that’s spec’d to top out at 20mph, hoping you can make it go faster, when you could spend the same on something you know will go faster, then it’s time to take advantage of the Costco oops I messed up policy and return it.
