Does anyone know the effect on battery range of changing the 0007 from 1 to 4; the 0008 from 1 to 4; the 3776 from 3kph to 10kph; and keeping 1234 the same. I used Assist #4 for the initial settings of 1, 1, 3kph, and 3. I used Assist #2 for the reset; 4, 4, 10kph,and 3 respectively
0007: sensor sensitivity
0008: extra assistance
3776: speed motor will start
1234: sensor speed

On a 35k ride at 35kph with all other factors the same on a recharged battery.
Assist #4 gives 200% assistance
Assist #2 gives 50% assistance

When I made these changes I was able to maintain the same average speed, but I could not clearly see the difference in remaining battery life. Approximately 2 to 3 battery bars were remaining. These changes made Assist #2 feel very very close to Assist #4 at the default settings. There was one week between rides.

changing the 0007 from 1 to 4; should make a minor decrease in range but climbing hills more jerky.
the 0008 from 1 to 4; significant decrease in battery range IF you are pushing hard enough on the pedals to get the assist,
3776 from 3kph to 10kph--Big increase in battery range. almost all acceleration will be done without e-assist unless the throttle is used..

Thankyou deardancer3!
So which of the two combinations of settings would use less battery power over the 35k at 35kph, flat surface, and all other things equal.

go back to the original settings except put 3776 from 3kph to 10kph.

Adjust your bike for comforable pedalling from a crouched aero position.

I understand about going back to the original settings and adjusting 3776. However, that is not what I am trying to get an answer to. I only want someone to use the two scenarios I gave in my original post which is:
(0007=1, 0008=1, 3776=3kph at assist 200%) or
(0007=4, 0008=4, 3776=10kph at assist 50%)
(1234 is the same for both)
Which of the two will use less battery at 35kph over 35k if ever thing else is the same.
