BioPlanet ebike [apparently a fraud attempt - see page 5 on]

Any sign of communication from Croatia regarding your money yet Tom L?

Cyber attack? Does sound touch dramatic of them. I should think the folks at anonymous have bigger things to focus on!

Well, the statement about a "refund in full" was given by Bioplanet-USA, not Bioplanet of Croatia.

Only Bioplanet-USA can tell us who in Croatia told him that Tom L would get his refund.

Once again, I must state that this further erodes confidence in the company.

I have just spoken again to Bioplanet and they told me that the refund transfer was executed yesterday and that it will take 2-3 business days for the transfer to complete. His bank should be contacting him shortly.
If it was sent at all it was sent on Wednesday as I had an email Tuesday saying they couldn't send it due to their public holiday (so definitely did not go Monday as told to US distributors). Which means I probably wont see anything until Friday (tomorrow). Not holding my breath though as if they were lying about the date sent they are probably also lying about it being sent at all.

It's not just my experience with this company that leads me to being pessimistic. I'm a pessimist by choice - as that way I can be be pleasantly surprised when I'm wrong. :)

I have no idea who Bioplanet-USA is. The only one I see on google is in Florida.

We have received official conformation this evening that the customer in Australia was just refunded in full.

Well it is now another week later and I do not have my refund. So much for the official confirmaition you received.

They have told you bold face lies.

Are you really sure you want to enter a business relationship with people like this?

I don't believe the company would lie to me....

I am myself waiting for your confirmation of received funds....He told me that he sent out the refunds.....Hopefully you will hear something from your bank this week....I am still confident you will soon be receiving your refund....

Your powers of self delusion are astounding. They told you they transferred it last Monday. It does not take a week for an international bank transfer to go through.

What coincidence. It seems like they've wronged more people than just you.

It sounds like you have good intentions and have unfortunately come along to someone elses mess. But should things take off your position as the North American dealer out of silicon valley would probably make you the primary distributor and face of bioplanet bike. So it really is in your best interest to sort this out. That's assuming you haven't been taken for a ride too(pardon the pun). I don't know if you've already given this guy any money but I wouldn't be giving him a cent until he's paid his debts. Otherwise you're paying money for bad publicity.

If Krešimir Budinski is the shyster that it looks like he's shaping up to be he'll quickly find that the top ranking search on google for bioplanet bike will be one detailing his dishonesty and warning people not to buy his bikes. He might be able to delete the comments of people calling him out on his own facebook page but he has no power here, or anywhere else on the web.

I am still hoping the best is soon to come...

I don't know what the situation is with the refunds the company said they sent or exactly what day they were sent last week...but i do believe Bioplanet is for real....I do know they have been improving every aspect the bike without going into the details...It is my genuine hope that some of these open issues will be resolved soon....

I was looking into international wire transfers and they usually take between 2-3 business days if the bank initiates the transfer immediately...sometimes it takes the bank a few days to send the transfer...That being said it might take longer than 2-3 days for the actual transfer to complete....

I have been with Bioplanet for that last two months and so far i believe them to be a legit startup.

This is exactly my point of view... 8)

Bofeili (who make the midrive inside it) already make complete bikes at that nominal power rating in a hardtail.

To anyone reading this I'd suggest if you want that drive with a known platform settle for the hardtail. If they can import it into a little place like NZ at a good price it sounds like the rest of the globe is up for grabs.
http://bofeilinz.com/models.html

The fact that they can't even email Tom a week later with feedback is now a red rag to the collective bull.

Strewth, it wouldn't even be that hard to drop the new Bafank crank drive into a similar CrMo frame and weld them up for that price...

Bioplanet is leaving themselves awfully exposed...

Interesting development tonight. Got an email from Kresimir Budinski indicating that he hasn't been paid for 6 months and is therefore concentrating "on an exit strategy". I believe he sent me this email so I would stop bugging him about my refund. However I'm not that gullible or uninformed.

As Mr Budinski is the company - being propped up by one other investor (other than Bioplanet-USA) - I believe he has inadvertently just admitted he is going to do a runner with the (my) money. Certainly fits with the web site being taken down.

Hi,
I am very sorry for your situation Tom L, i know how it feels.
I don't know if this is any help to you, but i can confirm that at least one bioplanet bike
is produced, i see it often in front of one small coffee bar in Zagreb. Quick google search
on your "mr" Budinski revealed that this is not his first experience in "exiting" strategy,
it seems like a regular practice. If you are familiar in situation in Croatia, you understand
it is a very popular business model here. I have worked for assh0le like that and i am having
a hard time trying to get my money. Good luck.

Indeed Rodney it is not the first time he's tried this: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=hr&tl=en&prev=_dd&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.business.hr%2Fvijesti%2Fvizionara-budinskog-goni-drzava-i-traze-vjerovnici

He actually made abut 5 bikes. He ordered 100 bike frames and didn't pay for any. He built and sold a couple to a utility company. Those bikes had battery management system problems - that he refused to fix.

Also he is planning on moving/fleeing to the US:

His new company is called Baltasar Investments Inc.

Dose someone have a contact email address for the department of immigration in the US?

After speaking to Kresimir myself.....I can also confirm the closing of Bioplanet Bike USA

Closed before i had the chance to launch...too bad such a nice website too we had planned. I am having the company dissolved first thing in the morning.

Meanwhile for those of you that will still like to purchase an electric bike from Croatia, i suggest you visit: http://www.rimac-automobili.com/
This company also manufactures electric bikes that are yet to be officially introduced...This startup has massive potential to say the least...google them and you will see.

This is a one-off version of the "Concept One" that was 1000% produced by Rimac Automobili in Croatia...As a Croat myself i feel obligated to show you the other side of Croatia. Croatia is a small country with massive potential and i hope that reputation of Croatia hasn't been destroyed from your experiences with this ''company''.

Croatia joined the EU today :D

Hi everyone,

1. Bioplanet Bike USA is not authorized to post in behalf of Bioplanet
2. HAL9000 known as Zvonimir Sucic, Zagreb, Croatia took money from Bioplanet and did not delivery project.
3. Bioplanet finished project with help of international supplier
4. Back orders are blocked on last 7 orders
5. New investor will invest into company restructuring and re-financing during July 2013
6. Deliveries will restart in August 2013

Nice to hear bad/good opinions about Bioplanet...

Kind regards,

Bioplanet

Everything you just posted is a crock of shit.

1) Bioplanet-USA is probably you. Mr Kresimir Budinski. EDIT: Looks like I was wrong on this one. Glad he wised up before any major damage was done.
2)You did not pay the designer of this bike for his services which is why he stopped working for you. Which you didn't like very much so you tried violent tactics on him.
3) Vague and unsubstantiated bullshit.
4) You mean back orders are blocked on every order you ever got except the two bikes you sold to the water utility. You know, the two that had the BMS problem that you refused to fix.
5) You are not going to con anyone else into giving you money.
6) Bahahahahah. So I'll get my bike in August then? Pigs will frocking fly.

You've got some nerve showing up here. Where's the bike I ordered 7 months ago Kresimir? Where's my refund Kresimir?

Are those soapy bikini clad girls on Facebook the investors , the engineers , or part of Tom L's money?

Tom, I have just come back to this thread after being previously impressed by the bike etc. The situation that you are in could just have easily been me, or anyone else on here. If I had the spare money to give to you to nail this bastid to the wall, I gladly would.

So we can assume your planned USA distributor won't be defending you any more now that they've wisened up to your scam.

2. HAL9000 known as Zvonimir Sucic, Zagreb, Croatia took money from Bioplanet and did not delivery project.
Zvonimir is well known on this forum with respected R&D credentials and a proven track record of delivering his wares to numerous members of this forum.
You on the other hand are nothing but a blow in with a reputation for lies and dishonesty. You've taken money from atleast 7 people (by your own admission) without delivering a single product. You continue to lie and make excuses for why refunds havent been given (if you reply at all) and have the police of 2 nations investigating you. Your only defense came from the guy who intended to be your US dealer and claimed to have worked with you for 2 months, and now he too is walking away from you.

Who do you think we're going to believe ??

I'll happily eat my words if this is the case, but I HIGHLY doubt this is the case.
How are you possibly attracting investors when you have a documented history of defrauding several companies ? Not even individuals like you are now, but whole companies. To the order of millions, if we are to believe all the articles that pop up when your name is googled.

I dont speak the language but I believe the approximate google translation of the following excerpt from a local media publication tells us everything we need to know about you and any business ventures you undertake

"Mr. Budinski This is a fraud and a petty criminal, there are a bunch of creditors who would like to trace. His company, AeroMobile left me responsible for more than 100,000 kuna, unsuccessfully trying to find him for two years, and even more criminal, the one who had given two million grant (again mine, since I am a full state budget!). Well-meaning advice: when you hear the name Kresimir Budinski, flee, do not fall for cheap stories"

Nice to hear bad/good opinions about Bioplanet...
Ha, don't expect any good ones unless you have dramatically turned your life around, which you'll forgive us for doubting.
You've failed to deliver anything other than a website (which is now down) and pictures of bikini girls featuring 2 bikes that for all we know are the only ones in existance and ever will be.
It's be nice for these bikes to see the light of day on a large-ish scale, but I'm not holding my breath
