Blah Blah Another Toro Workman MDE Failure (Bypass Question)

Hello,

Like every Toro Workman MDE owner, the cart's SEVCON controller is flashing 3 greens. I've been bug hunting for the last week with no success.
What I know works:

• All accessories (lights, signals, hour meter, reverse horn, dump bed actuator)
• Charging
• The motor (reconditioned), transaxle, brakes, tires, and wheels (spin when bench tested)
• Solenoid clicks / not shorted
• Currently testing the 8, 6v batteries, but they seem within spec

My question: I don't want to spend $1200 for a controller replacement. How do I bypass the SEVCON controller (while still keeping its working functions) and add a throttle only controller?

Torro workman ev problem

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a Torro workman GTX electric 48v with a sevcon gen4 controller, the controller is giving an error code of six flashes, which means a throttle problem, and the buggy won't move, contactor not activating. Now the throttle sensor is a dual hall effect...

i'd swap over to generic parts, and forget the factory rip off.
