Hello ES. I currently have in my possession. DGD 2181 high side low side gate driver by Diodes Inc. In the data there are no equation for calculating the bootstrap capacitor and surrounding safety componets for fets and the driver itself. Some data sheets contain this information and some dont, i also have a pdf application document on bootstrap equations, and equations on all safety componets to prevent fets from blowing up. My question is considering the DGD2181 does not have any component selection guidence will othe equation work for this driver found on other datasheets and related documents. Im sure dgd2181 my not be the best driver out there just got it to experiment i do have others. Thanks for the help

Rough rule of thumb is that the cap should have at least 10x the capacitance of the FET's gate at max voltage. Empirical test is to measure cap voltage with a scope and ensure minimal droop.

For bottstrapping refrence

Although the impedance of the gate is extremely high, it does require a certain amount of current, usually specified in the datasheet under "total gate charge" in nanocoulombs.
(1 coulomb (C) is the amount of electric charge transported by a current of 1 ampere in 1 second; 10-9 C = nC)

Bootstrap capacitors usually don't have to be very large. 0.1uF would likely fill the bill in all but unusual circumstances. Low-ESR ceramic or tantalum would be the kind to use. Electrolytics would not be a good choice due to comparatively higher ESR and inductance.

Here is a nice calculator for your need:
