Hello everyone!
For a school project I need to build an electric skateboard so I bought an Turnigy K-Force 120A ESC: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__38782__TURNIGY_K_Force_120A_HV_OPTO_V2_5_12S_Brushless_ESC.html
This ESC has 4 brake settings: OFF, SOFT, HARD and VERY HARD.
For my electric skateboard, I need a progressive brake, but with this ESC, as soon as I let go of the throttle, it brakes.
Can I change the brakes to be progressive?
Also, I'm using an Arduino to control the PWM signal to the ESC. Is there maybe a way I could switch between 0% throttle (so it brakes) and something like 1% throttle (so it doesn't brake but also doesn't accelerate) at a high frequency, maybe it will simulate a magnetic brake without braking too much so I don't fall off
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
