My second build after Helectric, The Bouncer

This beast is really nice setup for carving the city streets. Finished this build about month ago but still working on fine tuning the VESC settings. Deck has comfortable flex for my weight (–70kg) but little bit too flexy for higher speeds. Have not tried the top speed but that it is really insane with 12S and Carvons. The build quality of the Levers Carvons and chakas VESC are top notch

Had a nasty fall when trying out the Nyko Kama because of some kind of glitch, mostly my fault but then I switched back to GT2B because of the reliability.

Nice! Good to see some real world performance of the hubs. Your build looks awesome, it's simple and clean.

IMO, the more important problems to be solved with hub motors is not electrical but mechanical. The stator should stay still, the urethane shouldn't slip off and the ride quality should not be worse than belt-drives. I really learned a lot from my V1! Thanks for your support!

Snowboarding on the streets!

haimindo, sending two of these CF hubcaps and screws to lighten up the hubs. They make it almost half a kg lighter.

I really like this flexible board setup. It's like an independent-suspension system. The hit from the road on the front truck barely transmit to the rear truck, and vice versa. Everything stays on and no rattling noise.

The split enclosure design is also great because the weight of the hub motors is counter-balanced with the weight of the battery pack, and it helps when carrying the board. The weight of the battery pack being close to the front truck also helps in putting leverage on the front truck, allowing for the nose of the board to easily point in the direction you want to go; while at the same time, not putting any more leverage on the rear truck which can lead to speed-wobble.

I'm using Never Summer's Heist deck and even with a drop-through, I'm not getting any bite because of the camber of the deck.

Excatly, carving and pumping feels nice with flexy deck. I am currently looking for slimmer enclosures, the IKEA ones are little bulky.

Nice. Yeah, after getting over the thrill of 35+mph speed runs with my stiff Jet Machine deck, I just want to use my board for doing errands around the city. And the flexible deck setup and split enclosure really helps with the bumpy roads and carrying the deck, which I spend a lot of time doing when I'm inside the supermarket.
