:flame: Hello, Endless Sphere community I'm building a Stealth FUTR Build like the bomber. and I'm trying to find a 19-Inch Rear Motorcycle Rim and tire that are compatible with my build but unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to do so. thus I need your help.
Here are the parts of the build and the specs
Frame: F.U.T.R. Alpha – Gun Metal Grey Frame http://www.futrelectricbike.com/product/alpha-gun-metal-grey/
Motor: QS Motor 4000W 273 40H V3 E-bike.http://www.cnqsmotor.com/en/article_read/QS Motor 4000W 273 40H V3 E-bike Spoke Hub Motor/260.html
E-Bike Controller: Nucular Electronics Thermo Nucular 24F http://eczo.bike/en/nucular
Front Fork: DNM USD-8 Front Fork https://em3ev.com/shop/dnm-usd-8-front-fork-black-latest-version-dual-disc/
Rear Shock: DNM Burner-RCP3 Rear Shock https://em3ev.com/shop/dnm-burner-rcp3-rear-shock/
Braking System: Magura MT5E Carbotecture Bicycle Disc Brake - 2700984 https://www.amazon.com/Magura-MT5E-Carbotecture-Bicycle-Brake/dp/B01EQS1Z6O

Wheel-Set Desired Setup (Research Done on here please read and help any info would help me a lot.)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-XLQonoPg9Daca8z9bQ__f-9sfHXgB3H_a6OoHfsdRI

Moped/Moto Rim: EXCEL A60 https://www.amazon.com/Excel-GEK622-Black-2-15-Hole/dp/B000MQ82C0
(I'm interested in this RIM I Know it fits the Bike frame. But let's say I buy the RIM it will come unassembled and I'm not sure what Spokes or Nipples I Need and how do I know what length and thickness of the spokes do I need?)
*Front Wheel Desired Set-up:
-Front Wheel Pre-built Rim
-Wheel Size:26-Inch E-Bike Wheel
-Wheel-Set Type: Street Racing Or Enduro
-Wheel Set-up 32-36 Straight # Gauge Spokes Per Wheel Laced in a 3-Cross Pattern (Can be Radial) (Any Suggestions?)

*Back Wheel Desired Set-up: Moped/Moto Rim
-Custom Rim - Spoke - Nipples - Tire - Tube
-Wheel Size:19-Inch Moped/Moto Rim
-SPOKES & NIPPLES (Unknown Gauge Spokes and Moped Nipples!)
-Brands I’ve been looking at are:
-Warp 9 Racing - MX/Enduro Rims https://www.warp9racing.com/product/mx-enduro-rims/
-Excel - TAKASAGO EXCEL A60 RIM http://excel-rim.com/excel_a60.htm
(Excels and Buchanans may require drilling of the hub and/or rim, and I saw that some folks had issues with the length of the excels on a stock rim.)
-Buchanan
-Tusk (Tusk is obviously a less expensive OE replacement although they are stainless.)
-Pro-Wheel (Pro-Wheel looked to have mixed reviews.)

Someone managed to build the same build I want but I don't have his parts info
Only those specs.
8G Stainless Spokes (brass nipples), new 19" rim and a fresh Shinko 241 (What are the length of the spokes??? I guess ill never know :D)
---

I'd go 19" moto rim with a qs273. Not sure if you bought it already, but qs will lace the motor into whatever rim you want. I get it if you want to build your own. I had them lace my qs205 in a 19x1.6" rim. I buy my tires on ebay (shinko 244 in the front and dunlop knobby in the back). Hope this helps.

Hey deadlyvirus, welcome to the forum.

For idea's on your build I suggest reading the Futr owners thread over here:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=71666&p=1497263&hilit=futr+owners#p1497263

In the case of my Alpha I went with an 18" rear (laced myself) and a Nukeproof 26" front rim bough from CRC. My front forks and rear shock were DNM which are fine for street or light off-road use, but not great for serious off-roading.

It looks like most of your parts are pretty good and similar to what I would choose.
The only other parts I would change are:
Front brake: Suggest using an MT5 for adequate stopping power on a beast like this.
Controller: Take a look at Nucular. The new 24F is the bee's knees when it comes to controllers.
Battery: 20S10P of most 18650's won't get you very far when pushing the kind of power you'll have on tap with a 273. You need at least 12P, better 14P using Sanyo GA's. This is what I build for the Alpha in the video below:

I can also look at building you something if you've got the budget. The above pack cost $3000AUD + shipping. Let me know if your interested.

Cheers

Thank you for your reply. every little detail helps a lot.
I Already bought the Motor (QS Didn't offer to lace it up for me even tho I asked..) the thing is I know what I need to buy but I don't know if it gonna fit because I don't have enough experience picking parts. for example,
there are Rim Size:
19 x 2.5
19 x 2.50
how do I know which size I'm looking for and I know that the 19 is in inches and it stands for Rim Diameter but what is the 2.5 stands for and in what sizing is it?
as for Shinko 244 + 241 and dunlop knobby I've heard a lot of good things about those tires.

First of all, let me start with Thank you for your reply. every little detail helps a lot.

"In the case of my Alpha I went with an 18" rear (laced myself)" could I trouble you with sending me the Rims - Hubs - Spokes - Nipples - Tires - Tubes that you picked for the Alpha that you sold on your video?

"Nukeproof 26" front rim bough from CRC. My front forks and rear shock were DNM which are fine for street or light off-road use, but not great for serious off-roading."

Grate Choice going with the Nukeproof 26 (The Problem is they have so many models that support 26 and I don't know which one you are referring to). as to the front fork and rear shock the Bike Syle in Enduro but I'm going to be using it in Street with Speed limit and there are no to little bumps on the road.

Front brake: MT5 Grate Choice. I choose MT4 for Future ABS Upgradbility but looking at the ABS Market I'm not sure about it.

Controller: I Was going to go with the Adaptto MAX-E Controller. but if you check their website or contact them. they no longer sell those Controllers because they invented a new controller that is more powerful and it is under testing. (As for Nucular 24F is its underdevelopment and I checked it out. it might be the next Adaptto Controller as for the specs but only Testing will tell us?)

Battery: Agreed in order to use the full potential of the Motor and the Controller I need a beast Battery like the one you built there in the video.. as for the cost. it's gonna cost double what I expected to put on a battery but it is worth it.
is it possible to choose the Cell type and the model and instead of using the 18650 -- use 21700 I know they gonna be even more expensive but still ill be able to put more power in fewer battery cells. (Smaller Battery Pack less Weight and more efficient) would you be comfortable with a build like that?

No worries, glad to help.

The 18" rim was from a friend and I don't know the brand sorry. The rims/nipples were just generic 10g stuff from ebay meant for light motorbikes and scooters, like this:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/36x-10g...10MM-Electric-Bike-Ebike-E-bike/282650924051?
The hard part is figuring out the spoke length. Use this to figure that out: https://www.ebikes.ca/tools/spoke-calc.html

Front wheel was this one: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/nukeproof-generator-dh-mtb-front-wheel/rp-prod89572

Switch to MT5 if you can. The MT4 is good, but for a 150KG load the MT4 might struggle on longer downhills.

The Adaptto controllers sure where nice, but yes, they are long gone. I still have one on my Fighter which I like. I also have a Nucular on my LMX which is even better.
I'm pretty sure you can get the 24F now, so if you haven't already bought a controller I would strongly suggest looking at one.

As for the 21700 cells, yes absolutely they are better and not necessarily more expensive as there are fewer cells needed for the same area.
I've done a few mock ups of what would fit in a Bomber/Alpha for these and think I can make 20S10P fit as per the design below.

If your keen on getting something like this made, flick me a PM and we can discuss the details and pricing.

Cheers

Thank you for the reply.
As for the battery we will be in touch when i get to the Step of building the battery (The Last Step)
