Hi,
I am new to the forum. I am working on an EV project and will have a number of 36v battery modules in series. Charging will be 5KW onboard through the Openinverter logic board (charger doesn't have a set voltage and needs to be told when to turn off). I would like to be able to hook up a device with voltage protection for charging only, not discharge current protection. I have low voltage protection/temp monitoring/balancing figured out. My packs will see upwards of 600 amps peak, and each cell group is capable of over 1000amps peak (a123 batteries in parallel). Is it possible to wire something like this for that:
12s Lifepo4 BMS
I was also thinking about wiring up one of these for each cell group and connecting to a relay to turn off the charger at a set voltage:
LED Digital Volt Meter Buzzer
That would require 120 of them though-about $250 for the lot.
Any help would be greatly apprciated!
Thanks,
Chip
