Apparently I have been away from the forum for too long, seems I had to reregister.

Anyway I am wondering if anyone has run a 406 motor at 72v?

Cheers Greg

Yeah, and a video to go with it. The video was terrible due to many technical problems, but you can see a good straight out level speed. The motor is mounted in a 700C wheel bicycle.

Thanks Mike that was a great vid!

I'm in the process of looking into sticking my 406 on a trailer as my new bikes have suspension, but I was wondering about boosting the output. Looks like it is not a problem.

Hey Gaston was that in the BMX?

I remember awhile back you were doing some testing, then I kind of dropped out of the discussion.

Too many projects on the go ;)

I think it might have been Smoker who was also messing with the 406 at 72V. Didn't he build an Extrcycle (sp?)

According to Justin I can probably go to 48V before needing to upgrade the controller if I understand him correctly.

Perhaps it is time to decide on the 16 or 20" wheel and build it in anticipation of a new bike or trailer build.
