Hi all, have the following set up:

- 750W Bafang G060 rear hub motor
- Grin Baserunner controller
- 48V 20aH eig C020B battery with 40a Daly BMS
- Erider T17 torque sensing bb

From the get go I've struggled to get it running smoothly, with erratic PAS and throttle response.

I had wildly all over the place speed & human watt readings that I thought were the cause of the issues.

I've rectified the speedometer issue by installing a reed switch single magnet sensor.

Following this thread:

I tried connecting the negative of the battery to my frame and the torque readings are still all over the place.

I followed this guide https://neworldshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/CaV3UserGuide.pdf to set up the throttle in and out voltages and they seem to be correct.

I've been playing with the Again and Wgain, slowly reducing the numbers but have yet to get it to work properly. My throttle will give me a maximum of between 2 and 4 amps, and there are no limit flags showing.

Next steps would be installing the torque sensing BB signal cable in screened Cat6, but really starting to lose it and considering just buying a standard controller and display.

Have spent a lot of money on the grin and finding it frustrating that can't get it to work, I know it could be so good!

Can anyone review my settings and see if there's anything in missing / make any recommendations of where to go next?

Thanks in advance.

My erider was erratic even after grounding the frame because I had the wire routed right next to the motor phase wires. It was only when I moved the two onto completely separate parts of the frame that I managed to get a clean signal. Something to consider.

Thanks, yeah I have already rerouted the PAS cable onto a different part of the frame 😵‍💫
