Cable lugs/wire connectors

Hi
Is it important or have specific wire lugs in order to not loose any power?
I have a 48v 750w motor and a 48v 7.8ah battery and would like to get maximum power

I know RC cars have specific connectors in bronze but not sure if it applies to Ebikes

Yes there are a lot of shity connectors that ebike companies will use some are just 12 volt trailer connectors not meant to handle watts. Depends what connections you have for the phase wires I use for 4mm gold plated . You can also use these Fourier battery connections. What connections do you have on there now ?
Underpowered connectors will heat up melt the wires.

I have regular steel (or what ever it is) that comes from Bafang in the box, small connectors but want to use good stuff so that I get maximum effeciency
Not able to find specific info on wich connectors to use. Maybe a RC shop is the right way to go? The cars and planes are really fast now days
