Does anyone know if there exists a 3D model of a motor mount shaped for caliber trucks? I've found a couple on thingiverse but theyre not adjustable and I'm not experienced enough at CAD modeling to edit them myselves. I'm trying to CNC my own mount that can just be screwed shut, but I may have to resort to welding. Alternatively, if anyone has access to a mill and would be able to cnc me a mount at a reasonable price that would be amazing.

Enertion/Onloop released his CAD files (or similar format) a while back open source for folks to make their own! I'd do a search and find hte files.

Most CNC places are stupid expensive, but you could try a nicer maker location that has access to CNC machines.

It's usually going to be cheaper for a single or double mounts to just buy a pre-made setup from DIYes, Enertion, ADS, etc.

GL!

I would get the inserts for the Caliber trucks. I have done some modeling for a caliber motor mount as a fixed mount before moving on to an adjustable mount with inserts. Adjustable meaning being able to change the angle the motor sits above parallel to the ground. The one thing that really annoyed me is the precision of the hangers on Caliber trucks as cast is not very high. There is kind of a taper towards the axle, but I assume it is the way it is because it must be from a sand mold.

In stock as of right now. $65 gets you an adjustable mount for caliber trucks shipped to your door in the USA.
