First of all, Good day to everyone and this is my very first question. Pls don't mind if it's silly one.
I got a used LG Chem from Renault Twizy
7 series of 30v from 8 pouch batteries.
I know I can break those series apart and make it as a 60v 120AH from 3 series 3 parallel. but I love the original case which has proper connectors and airflow.
My plan to connect the battery by using it original bank
Main bank = Sub bank 1 - Sub bank 2 - Sub bank 3 as parallel = 60v ~120Ah
Sub bank 1 = bank 1 + bank 2 = 16 batteries
Sub bank 2 = bank 3 + bank 4 = 16 batteries
Sub bank 3 = bank 5 + bank 6 = 16 batteries
Can I connect B1+ of S-bank 1, B1+ of S-bank 2 and B1+ of S-bank 3 to same port of BMS's B1+, and so on for the rest 15 bats.?
And BMS will know B1 to B16 as 120AH 3.7v?
