I'd enjoy hearing from those on this forum that have used a translation service or two and mention who they recommend. The service I am looking for doesn't involve voice communication.

I can't recommend an actual service but I've used Google translator for years. Just cutting and pasting documents into the google translator. When I needed to be 100% sure and I used my girlfriend who spoke English, Italian and German.

I just use Chrome Browser and it translates whole webpages when it detects a language other than my default (English). Or if you just need snippets, use translate.google.com

I was going to mention that I've used google translate, and other similar translators, without great success. I assumed it wasn't relevant. I've translated plenty of things for myself to and from individuals using google translate, some of it I can understand, some of it I cannot and vice versa.

Yes, I am looking for a professional service. I am sure to use a service, assuming it works out well, more than a few times.
