Cannondale Neo adventure 250watt rear hub motor speed limit hack?

Hey, so I had purchased a lightly used (100km) cannondale adventure Neo e bike, bafang 250 watt rear hub motor pedal assist/ throttle control.
I was wondering if any one of you could potentially help me with the following:

1. Hacking the speed governor, I had done loads of reading up on it and apparently the governor is built into the controllers software? Is there a cord you can buy to run the “speeed” app on android? I was only ever able to find the cord & instructions for the bafang mid drive motor set up ONLY. :/

2.If I put a aftermarket e-bike controller in her to make it a bit faster does anyone have a wiring diagram??

3. And other hacks/ upgrades for this model?

How fast does it go now? If you lift the rear wheel off the ground and go full speed, is it the exact same speed as while riding?

My guess is it probably goes about has fast as a 250W motor can go on 36V. At the speeds the bike is capable of, even doubling the controller current won't make the bike any faster.

Example, a motor with a 20A controller and same motor with a 40A controller. It's probably better to enjoy the bike as is. You need to go up in voltage to get any significant speed increase, so work on designing a faster bike that you can build from scratch, which will cost a lot less than trying to do it with a factory bike.

Thank you E-HP for the information. I have a nine bot scooter that is a 36volt 350w motor that was governed out at 32 km/hr, I ended up getting into the software with help of a app and boosted its acceleration and top speed to 58km/hr no load and I can rip on flat ground 51km/hr.
I know they are different motors carry’s substantial difference in weight so. When you mentioned about testing the speed with no load to load what does that show?

If the speeds are the same, then it likely has the speed locked. If it’s slower when riding compared to with no load, then there is no speed lock imposed.
