I currently have a 48 12 ah battery in the triangle of my frame I plan on adding a second one for increased range. Having a 1000 watt motor even with heavy pedaling my range suffers a bit. So I planned on upgrading my 44 tooth crankset to a 51 tooth and adding a 11 tooth rear then adding a second battery.
I am stuck between wanting a luna mighty mini and a rear rack battery.

The 52v battery is compelling due not so much for its size but its higher voltage. But have been wondering if 52v even gives a decent speed boost if any at all does a 4v difference increase anyones speed. I am getting 28-30 mph top speed average on my current set up and doubt 52 makes a difference.
The other flaw is the weight of the 48v battery its weight is no listed my lifepo4 battery weights quite a bit already more weight would just end up costing me range has anyone used bms rear rack battery that can comment on its weight. Its also compelling because it comes with a spring rear rack and I had planned on buying a new spring rear rack anyways because my current rear rack is being held to the frame with zip ties at the top part and does not give me enough room for a rear fender.
