Car drivers love to make it the victim's fault, when all the deadly force involved was something the driver chose to bring along with the car.
"I didn't see him, he just jumped out in front of me while I was spraying cyanide/shooting my gun/slashing this chainsaw around for no good reason." The net result of car driving is that people die for the laziness, obliviousness, and convenience of callously indifferent jackasses, and nobody faces consequences for it except the victim and his or her survivors.
Dying in a car crash is only a just outcome when the person who dies was the one who willingly chose to be in the car. The rest of the time it's a form of homicide, negligent at least-- even if the law and the opinions of callously indifferent car driving jackasses don't agree.
