Ok. Having looked at "Easy Build" Hub Motors and Mid Drives I found myself desiring Pure Frigging Power. Does anyone know anything about converting Car EV components into a Motorcycle EV build? Nissan Leaf motor looks decently sized IMO. I have a 1999 Yamaha R1 Truck. IDGAF about weight until things get crazy and pass a quarter ton (550 lbs, 200 KG).

I’d assume you definitely could, but the Nissan leaf’s (and other EVs’) motor is relatively large, needs high voltage, and is meant to be water cooled. There’s more compact motors of similar power that would be better suited, but I’d be interested to see someone try!

I would like to see any work on that too. My big scoot is two monster hub motors each with its own battery and it is still getting faster. . The two wheel drive give it massive power and unbelievable speed. It is around 500 lbs also. Also ROVIs drag bike build has got be pushing automotive ev levels of power. He and this dragster are the only Evs I have seen that are possibly faster than my beast, so far! Cheers.
